Sundays for Children

At Calvary our children are as important in the practice of worship as the rest of us.  Therefore, we seek to love your kids in a safe, fun, and spiritually enriching environment.  Given that we are blessed to have some of our children in both services, we have chosen to really enhance our time with them and provide very different experiences both hours.

Preschool (Ages 3-5)

Discipleland – 8:30 Service

This is a time where we seek to go deep into the scriptures with your little ones.  Our hope is that this time helps to really bring home the truths that our students have been learning so that they will live lives differently because of what they know about God and His great love.  We couple this with interaction, kinesthetic as well as auditory and visual learning styles to ensure a love for church.

Little K – 10:30 Service
During this fun hour your students will be introduced to our fun friend, little K.  He will teach them a bible story, the scriptural truth and the life application of this story using great multimedia tools.  It is a fun participatory event that has been prepared especially for your little one!

Elementary (Grades K – 5th grade)

Discipleland – 8:30 Service

The goal of this class is, in the words of C. S. Lewis "to go further up and further in" to the Word of God. We discover the rich truths of God's love and plan of redemption and how each one of us fit's into this plan! Students are challenged individually and are presented with new and cutting edge tools for joining in on the Great Commission.

The Launch – 10:30 Service
Blast off….In this service your k – 5th grade students will learn the truth of God through our crazy friend, Johnny Rogers whose crazy personality and ideas keep us on our toes.  This highly interactive worship time will prepare your child to launch back into the world and be examples of Christ and His love.  They will love the large group worship as well as the chance to get together in smaller groups and talk about how to launch out into the world and put these truths into practice.

Each of our groups are staffed by interns and volunteers that have been fingerprinted and background checked to ensure your child’s safety!
