High School

Sunday Morning Crossroads

Join with everybody in the sanctuary at 10:30, then - during the offering - follow the crowd of high school students to the church Conference Room.  This discussion time, called Crossroads, is focused on two things:  getting you connected with other high school students, and helping answer your questions about the Christian faith.

Sunday Night Youth Group

We begin at 6:30pm with a time of acoustic music and creative sharing in the Youth Center. Then it's off to the gym for games. Youth Group is an essential experience for high schoolers looking to connect in our ministry.  For students looking to grow beyond our regular meeting times we offer a variety of discipleship groups that encourage sharing, accountability, and the development of spiritual disciplines.  Groups are divided according to age and gender.

Outreach

Calvary's high school students are serving in our church, our community, and our world. Students are encouraged to assist in the church nursery, in our AWANA children's program, and at our signature middle school events. Our high schoolers are also leading the way in Calvary's growing friendship with the Union Rescue Mission. Students planned and hosted a game tournament at URM's Spring Carnival, participated in the rooftop summer movie series, and brought an extra supply of enthusiasm to "Splash Zone", the mission's summer water day. Through the years we have also carried the love of Jesus - through humanitarian relief projects - to the Wind River reservation in Wyoming, the Christian Surfers ministry in Costa Rica, and a variety of churches in Belize City, Belize.
