Spring Outreach
We are excited once again this year to partner with local ministries to help serve children, women and families in need throughout our community. Take a look at the events offered and see where God is moving your heart to serve this year.
Saturday, February 11 – Palisades Outreach Day
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
This year we will focus on the needs of our community. Several teams from Calvary will go to various predetermined locations to provide physical labor and fellowship. Our desire is to continue to focus on loving our community both through prayer and addressing tangible needs.
Saturday, March 10 – Union Rescue Mission Kids Carnival
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
We will once again partner with the children and families of the Union Rescue Mission and Hope Gardens. Join us as we transform the chapel of URM into a carnival, complete with face painting bounce houses, balloon animals and carnival games. The older children of URM and Hope Gardens will enjoy various games and activities in the gym. We look forward to continuing to grow in our relationship with children and families experiencing homelessness, seeking to provide love and encouragement.

Domestic Disaster Relief Outreach
North Sioux City, South Dakota
In August 2011, the Missouri River flood destroyed the homes of many residents. In the absence of national relief efforts, victims were left with few options for recovery. A fifteen-member team from Calvary will fly into South Dakota and spend several days working with the Salvation Army and Global Compassion Network to help restore homes through landscaping, dry-walling, electrical and plumbing work.
The cost of the trip is $525 per person, to be raised or paid by each individual. Donations towards individuals going or for the trip can be made by clicking below:
