High School

Sunday Morning Youth Service

Join with everybody in the sanctuary at 10:30, then – during the offering – follow the crowd of high school students to the church Conference Room. This discussion time is focused on two things: getting you connected with other high school students, and helping answer your questions about the Christian faith.

Wednesday Night Youth Group

Every Wednesday evening, our High School Youth Group gathers for worship, games, and small groups. These gatherings are the cornerstone of our high school ministry, and the best place for students to make connections between their faith, their friends, and the church. We are passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we make every effort to ensure that our programs reflect that passion. We meet from 7:00-8:30pm in the Sanctuary.

For students looking to grow beyond our regular meeting times we offer a variety of discipleship opportunities that encourage sharing, accountability, and the development of spiritual disciplines.
If your student is interested in a discipleship opportunity, we’d love to get them connected.

Calvary’s high school students are serving in our church, our community, and our world. Students are encouraged to assist in the church nursery, in our AWANA children’s program, and at our signature middle school events. Our high schoolers are also leading the way in Calvary’s growing friendship with the Union Rescue Mission. Students planned and hosted a game tournament at URM’s Spring Carnival, participated in the rooftop summer movie series, and brought an extra supply of enthusiasm to “Splash Zone”, the mission’s summer water day. Through the years we have also carried the love of Jesus – through humanitarian relief projects – to the Wind River reservation in Wyoming, the Christian Surfers ministry in Costa Rica, Hope for Guatemala in Guatemala City, and a variety of churches in Belize City, Belize.
