It is my privilege to serve Calvary Church and the Palisades community as the Head of School for Calvary Christian.For the last eleven years, I have worked alongside an amazing staff and incredible families to grow Calvary Christian School into a school of excellence.
As a school, our goal is to provide academic excellence, Christian values and opportunities for leadership and service to the children in West Los Angeles.We believe that this is being accomplished through our outstanding teachers who are academically well prepared and are role models of Godly character.The community service opportunities are ongoing as we want our students to think of giving to others as a way of life, not a onetime event.
Don and I have been married 42 years and we moved to Pacific Palisades not having any idea what a blessing this place would be to us and to our three sons. We are grateful for God's provision of this work to bring glory to Him.
When I graduated from Oklahoma Christian College in 1969, I had no idea where God would lead me but I cannot imagine a greater gift than that of serving Him in this place, at this time.
My favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11:
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
It is my firm conviction that God has GREAT plans for the students at Calvary Christian School. They are our future leaders and I believe they will be well-grounded and ready to meet the challenges the world gives them!
