Worship Director

Travis oversees the music for both the 8:30am and 10:30am Sunday services, as well as for the High School Youth Group.  Travis also organizes outreach events such as The Gathering concerts, and produces/writes the Sundays music series (a collection of worship recordings produced specifically for Calvary Church).

Travis joined the Calvary staff in December of 2003.  After  graduating from Midwestern State University with a B.B.A. in December of 1999,  Travis launched his career in music by starting an indy band called Tenthousand Flying.  They began touring and leading worship in Texas and throughout the country at conferences, camps, concerts and various events.  After 3 years of hard touring, with a baby on the way, he and His wife Tracey decided it was time to look for something more sutable for family life.  Shortly after, the opportunity for Travis to join the staff at Calvary emerged, and the Taylor's have been with Calvary ever since. 

He has written and produced several albums in recent years, and continues to release new recordings.  After releasing several independent projects with Tenthousand Flying, his first national solo release was "You Have Loved", released on Koch Records/Periday Records, on February 3, 2009.  His latest release is "Sundays Vol. 2".  You can find out more about Travis’ music at www.travistaylormusic.com
